While some have set their eyes on adventurous travel destinations on the coastal belt, others have decided to take the opportunity and visit hill stations and go trekking to get away from the rising mercury.

Ojas Sitapure (17), a Class XII student said that he has planned a road trip with his friends. “ My elder brother decided to help us by taking my three friends and me for a coastal road trip, which will include stops at the Velas turtle festival, Ganpati Pule beach, Tarkarli and finally the casinos in Goa. As the climate is expected to be warm there, we may end up spending most of the time at these beaches.”

Although a few students have planned adventurous trips, some have decided to take this time and spend it with their family.

“I have been studying all through the year. So, my family decided to take a break and spend some time with each other this summer. We will be going to a resort in Himachal and spend some relaxing family time together,” said Angelica Pinto (15), a Manpada resident.

A few educational institutions and NGOs have also planned a similar trip for their students.
