stablished in 1927, by Sheth Anandilal Podar, Podar Education Group has, from the very beginning been focussed driven and motivated by the traditional Indian values of honesty, integrity and service. The father of our nation, Mahatma Gandhi, being the very first President of the Anandilal Podar Trust stands testimony to this fact. (View the minutes of the first Trust meeting).
With over 95 years of experience within the educational space, the Podar group is now a network of 139 Podar International Schools (completely managed by Podar Education Network) + 98 Podar Partner schools, with a combined student strength of more than 2,00,000 and the support of 7,800 dedicated and loyal staff members.
Cambridge International prepares school students for life, helping them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning.
Our programmes and qualifications set the global standard for international education. They are created by subject experts, rooted in academic rigour and reflect the latest educational research. They provide a strong platform for learners to progress from one stage to the next, and are well supported by teaching and learning resources.
We develop Cambridge learners who are confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged – equipped for success in the modern world. Five elements lie at the heart of a Cambridge education: international curriculum, teaching and learning, assessment, international recognition and global community.

Curriculum
The term curriculum refers to the lessons and academic content taught in a school as part of the offered program. The Cambridge curriculum typically refers to the knowledge and skills students are expected to learn and develop through assignments, projects, books, materials, videos, presentations, assessments, and other methods that are used to evaluate student learning.
Cambridge Pathway
Our Cambridge Pathway is for students aged 5 to 19. It offers a wide range of subjects and flexibility. It gives us the chance to shape the curriculum so that it is exciting and relevant for our students.
Progression
We offer a coherent curriculum with clear progression at each stage, for students aged 5 to 19. We identify clearly what we want students to learn at each stage.
Why Podar Education Network?
At Podar Education Network, we have, in our eight-decade-long expertise in nurturing and guiding students, realised that our objective is not merely to train students and get them to clear examinations but to encourage their scientific temper, foster creativity and, most importantly, inculcate the values and standards that are required to make them proud citizens.
The 5 Pillars of Podar Education Network Experience
- The Right Approach
- The Right Curriculum
- The Right Faculty
- The Right Environment
- The Right Skills
Podar Prep
Podar Prep is the preschool section of Podar International School. All Podar International Schools have a Podar Prep preschool, and this is where the student’s journey with Podar begins.
All our Podar Preps have Nursery, Junior Kg, and Senior Kg sections, and students who are studying in the Podar Prep of Podar International School are assured admission into Std 1 of Podar International School.
KIDUCATION is the core educational belief of Podar Prep. KIDUCATION, as the name suggests, is education from the point of view of the child’s development and so KIDUCATION ensures that the activities and learning that kids are exposed to at their age are relevant, developmentally appropriate, culturally specific, and hands-on.
EYFS Curriculum
The EYFS – Early Years Foundation Stage – is the curriculum framework of the United Kingdom. The Podar Prep curriculum is designed to encourage learning outcomes that focus on nurturing children to develop holistically, morally, aesthetically, and globally, including knowledge acquisition and academic skills.
Based on the EYFS curriculum, these learning outcomes are divided into the following categories. In-depth assessments are done at each age-stage on every area of learning.
The EYFS Framework explains how and what your child will be learning to support their healthy development. Your child will be learning skills, acquiring new knowledge, and demonstrating their understanding through 7 areas of learning and development:
- Personal competencies and social development
- Language and literacy skills
- Early numeracy skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the world
- Creative development
- Understanding information and communication technology
- Physical skills and competencies
