What inspired you to pursue prosthodontics as a career?

The art and creativity in fabricating the artificial teeth or prosthesis that brings back the lost natural smile and confidence specially on senior citizens' face. As a prosthodontist, the ability to provide artificial prostheses in a way that feels completely natural is what truly inspires me.

What are the most common dental problems you address in your practice?

In my practice as a prosthodontist, the most common dental issues I address include missing or damaged teeth, often through implants, crowns, or bridges. I also treat wear from teeth grinding and help correct bite issues. Additionally, many patients seek cosmetic improvements, such as veneers or crowns, to address uneven or discolored teeth. My goal is always to restore both function and aesthetics, ensuring long-term self maintaining oral health

How long have you been practicing in Mumbai Bandra and Thane?

Almost 22 years

How do you ensure a comfortable experience for your patients?

I make sure I give them a ear to listen to them in detail without interruption Make sure what they need and what they expect Make sure they are comfortable through the procedure and take care of their smallest need And no excuse for any of the complain or issues they have post the treatment ( post care follow up and assurances what I focus on ).

What advice would you give to someone nervous about dental treatments?

I would advise them to communicate openly with their dentist about their fears and concerns. Letting the dentist know what makes them nervous can help create a more comfortable experience and allow for adjustments.It's also helpful to focus on the long-term benefits of the treatment and remember that modern dentistry offers pain-free options to ensure a positive experience. Taking small steps, like scheduling a consultation first, can also help ease anxiety.

Can you share a success story or a memorable case from your clinic?

It goes back some 8-9 years, I was in a government office for some work and came across this 57 year old person whose teeth were worn out and he was smiling with less confidence. The minute he came to know that I am a dentist he asked me hesitantly about his dental issues.

That was the time I told him it’s my responsibility to make you smile again and make you eat comfortably again After a detailed planning we executed his work which took us almost 6 months of extensive work.

Post the treatment he was overwhelmed with regaining his lost confidence and was smiling after a long period and was able to enjoy his meals comfortably.

The best part was we never discussed about any commercials till the time he was comfortable I always believe God have selected me to recreate lost smile Money of a byproduct of my work

In my case my work is my passion So happy to serve the community with my dental expertise and bring back smile on each and everyone’s face.
