However since its exam season, many are not getting the time to attend garba classes. So, many are taking to the internet and other social media sites to learn the dance moves.

Mehek Savla, a Class X student, loves to dance but due to her hectic schedule she was not able to join any class to learn some new moves that she can flaunt during the festive season. Som she opted to use her free time to watch dance videos.

“I spend most of my time in school, follwed by classes. So I didn’t not get the time to attend dance classes. Then I decided to watch dance videos at home,” said Savla.

Like Savla many office-goers are also unable to find time to go for any classes. So, they too are opting to learn dance moves from various social media applications and websites.

No only youngsters, but also people above the age of 50 are making utmost use of the internet. “I can play dandiya, but when it comes to garba I have two left feet. So I’m trying to learn the dance form on my own by watching videos of various choreographers,” said Aditi Ghangurde.

As there is a huge demand for these online courses, many choreographers have been uploading the dance tutorials. Not only are the videos based on the authentic garba moves, but they have synced it with some latest Bollywood steps as well.
