Adhere to lockdown rules: TMC to societies

THANE: The Thane civic chief, Vijay Singhal, has issued notices to housing societies to ensure that lockdown orders are being followed by members. This comes after the TMC observed that some residents have been venturing out for morning walks and gathering at parking lots and terraces.

The order stated that those found violating norms must be fined. If they default again, then the office bearers must lodge a complaint with the cops. Action will be taken against the office bearers for not complying with the rules.
