Ingredients for Bread Rolls Recipe

Refined flour (maida) 1 cup + 1 for dusting
Oil for greasing
Fresh yeast 1 teaspoon
Castor sugar 1 teaspoon
Milk powder 1 teaspoon
Butter 1 tablespo teaspoon
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Milk for brushi
Black sesame seeds (kale til) to sprinkle

Method:

Step 1
Put yeast in a bowl. Add castor sugar and 2 tablespoons warm water, stir and set aside till the yeast activates.

Step 2
Mix together flour, activated yeast, milk powder and sufficient water on the worktop and knead to a soft dough. Add 1 tablespoon butter and salt and knead further. Put the dough in a bowl, cover with a damp muslin cloth and set aside to prove for 10-15 minutes.

Step 3
Grease a baking tray with some oil.

Step 4
Dust dough with some flour, divide into equal portions and shape into small balls. Place them on the greased tray, cover and set aside to prove for 20-25 minutes.

Step 5
Preheat oven to 180°C.

Step 6
Brush some milk on each ball and sprinkle black sesame seeds on top. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Step 7
Remove from heat, cool and serve.
