Ingredients for Cheese Chilli bread Pakora Recipe
Mozzarella cheese grated 1/4 cup
processed cheese grated 1/4 cup
Green chilli finely chopped 1-2
White bread slices 8
Oil Deep fry
Yellow capsicum medium 1/2
Red capsicum medium 1/2
Green capsicum medium 1/2
Salt to taste
Gram flour (besan) 1 cup
Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
Baking soda a pinch
Method:
Step 1
Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
Step 2
Take mozzarella cheese in a bowl. Add processed cheese, yellow capsicum, red capsicum, green capsicum, green chillies and salt and mix.
Step 3
Take gram flour in another bowl. Add turmeric powder and some water, whisk to get a semi-thick batter.
Step 4
Add salt and baking soda and whisk again.
Step 5
Spread some cheese mixture on top of 4 bread slices and cover with remaining 4 slices.
Step 6
Cut each prepared bread slices into 2 equal triangles.
Step 7
Dip each bread triangle into the batter and deep-fry in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
Step 8
Serve hot.
