Ingredients for Black Forest in a Cup Recipe
Chocolate cake slabs 200 grams
Whipped cream as required
Sugar syrup for brushi
Cherry compote 8 tablespoons
Dark chocolate shavings to sprinkle
Method:
Step 1
Using a medium sized cookie cutter and a slightly smaller sized cookie cutter to cut out 4 discs of each size from the cake slabs.
Step 2
Put whipped cream in a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle and pipe some whipped cream into each serving glasses. Place the smaller disc in each, brush with some sugar syrup, spread 1 tablespoon cherry compote and pipe some more whipped cream.
Step 3
Top with the bigger cake disc and spread 1 tablespoon cherry compote in the centre. Pipe some whipped cream rosettes around the compote and sprinkle some chocolate shavings on top.
Step 4
Garnish with chocolate stick and serve immediately.
