Ingredients for Cream of Spinach Soup Recipe

Spinach 1 large bunch
Butter 1 tablespoon
Garlic chopped 1/2 tablespoon
Refined flour (maida) 1 tablespoon
Milk 1 cup
Salt to taste
White pepper powder to taste
Fresh cream 1 tablespo for drizzling

Method:

Step 1
Blanch spinach leaves in boiling water for 1 minute. Refresh in ice cold water, drain well, squeeze excess water and blend. Add a little water and blend again to a smooth puree.

Step 2
Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and flour, mix and sauté for a minute.

Step 3
Add spinach puree and mix well. Add sufficient water and mix well. Add milk and mix well.

Step 4
Add salt and pepper powder, stir to mix and bring to a boil. Add cream and mix.

Step 5
Drizzle some cream and serve hot.
